Eternium forum empty socket1/29/2024 But nothing ruins your evening quite as much as realising this stupid mistake will cost you 308 gems ?.Īnd even worse if you're a new player that has no idea it worked like that. And ANB's are far enough apart that you forget about it happening before. This is now the third time this has happened to me since CT's were introduced. You are super excited, could kiss your screen out of joy, rush to your stash and apply your Celestial Transform to make this beauty you just crafted complete.Īnd then a couple of minutes later you realise: I forgot the ****ing socket. You play your ANB, gather materials, do your absolute best to play as efficiently as possible, craft dozens of items and then BOOM! You finally get your 77. It's a matter of preference to each tank - you'll build more threat with T4 and get set bonuses, but you'll get more raw evasion and stamina with Eternium.Īs an addendum, if you are using the 100-badge Chest and leg pieces, you won't be able to get the 4 piece set bonuses, making this (in my opinion) the superior helm for avoidance, and preferable to the T4 helm in fights that tax the healers.I think we've all had it happen at least once: With a Solid Star of Elune and the +18 stamina meta, the T4 helmet will give you +83 stamina, with an Empyrean, it will only give you +86. With three Solid Star of Elune, this helm will give you +84 stamina, with three Solid Empyrean Saphire, it will give you +93. If you socket straight stamina, you'll also get higher stamina from this helm than from the T4. Note that I don't consider shield block to be avoidance, since you still take most of the hit in damage - I'm speaking purely from dodge/parry. Comment by 113855This is superior to the T4 tanking helm in my opinion, you'll get more avoidance from this one if you socket for the socket bonus.
